What We’ll Cover:
Why the Major Arcana sets the tone of every reading
How the Court Cards represent personas and maturity
What the numbered Minors reveal about your internal experience
The difference between Death and the 10 of Swords
The importance of choosing the right deck for your intuitive style
In this audio, we begin our first true Tarot lesson, and no, we’re not starting with definitions. Because the second you memorize a meaning, you risk killing the music. Tarot is not a flashcard system. It’s a language. A song. A mirror. And if you want to become fluent, you’ll need to train the ear of your intuition before the voice of your intellect gets too loud.
This lesson guides you through the foundational splits in the Tarot deck (the Major Arcana, the Court Cards, and the numbered Minors) by comparing them to musical octaves on a piano. One octave is not better than another, but they do reveal where the message is landing: in the soul, the self, or the moment.
You’ll also hear a crucial reframe: cards reflect your question rather than provide an answer. And the more you can spot the hierarchy and tone within a spread, the clearer that reflection becomes.
You’ll also receive your first Tarot exercise; an intuitive game that begins to train your eye (and your gut) to recognize what’s important in a reading before your mind starts grasping for meanings.
You don’t need to be “gifted” to read Tarot. But you do need to learn to listen.
Fell free to comment your thoughts and revelations. I’d love to hear them and discuss.
